This study aimed to improve students’ inside foot passing skills in football learning through the implementation of Small Sided Games among Grade VII A students at SMP Negeri 1 Semitau, Kapuas Hulu Regency. This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach with a qualitative descriptive design conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 29 Grade VII A students, consisting of 13 male and 16 female students. Data were collected through direct observation and practical tests of inside foot passing skills. The data were analyzed descriptively by examining the improvement in students’ learning mastery at each stage of the research. The results showed a gradual improvement in students’ inside foot passing skills. In the pre-cycle stage, only 8 students (27.59%) achieved the minimum mastery criterion. After implementing Small Sided Games in Cycle I, the number of students achieving mastery increased to 14 students (48.27%). Furthermore, in Cycle II, the number of students achieving mastery increased to 24 students (82.75%), exceeding the predetermined classical mastery criterion of 75%. Therefore, the implementation of Small Sided Games was proven to improve inside foot passing skills in football learning among Grade VII A students at SMP Negeri 1 Semitau, Kapuas Hulu Regency.
