Journal Sport Academy (JSA) is a scientific journal published by the Master’s Program in Physical Education, IKIP PGRI Pontianak. This journal serves as a platform for the dissemination and communication of research findings to academics and the broader community in the field of sports and its applications. The scope of the journal includes Physical Education, Sports Coaching, Physical Activity, Traditional Sports, Health Sports, and Disability Sports.

In this first edition of the year, Journal Sport Academy (JSA) presents seven articles covering a variety of topics, including Physical Education, Sports Coaching, and Physical Activity. This diversity of content reflects the broad application of sports education in society and reveals numerous opportunities for related research.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the authors for their enthusiasm and dedication in contributing their articles. Our sincere appreciation also goes to the reviewers who have generously devoted their time to evaluating the manuscripts, identifying areas for improvement, and enhancing the quality of the papers. Such contributions inspire us to continue managing this journal to ensure its consistent publication while striving for ongoing quality enhancement.

We hope that the articles featured in this inaugural edition will be valuable to both the academic community and the wider public. We welcome constructive criticism and suggestions for the future development and improvement of JSA. Furthermore, we warmly invite authors and researchers to submit their work for future editions so that the spirit of knowledge-sharing can be sustained and continue to make a positive contribution to the research climate in Indonesia.
